Former England captain David Gower knows a thing or two about Australia, both in terms of how to win Ashes series and what the country has to offer to cricket fans.
The support of the England fans has become a key part of Ashes tours Down Under for touring teams and Gower is urging fans to travel and get behind Alastair Cook's men later this year.
Before that, however, Cook leads his side in the first half of unprecedented back-to-back Ashes series, with the first Test getting underway on 10th July at Trent Bridge.
In this interview, Gower talks about his experiences of playing against Australia, how he sees the current teams, his memories of the 1981 Headingley Ashes Test and speaks warmly about his love of Australia as a destination and particularly, Western Australia, an area he knows well.
Former England cricket captain and Ashes hero David Gower calls on the British public to play their part and make the trip down under in this unique Ashes year. Visit www.westernaustralia.com for more information.
