Video - Pakistan Win Sets Momentum - Raina

Indian batsman Suresh Raina says the seven-wicket win over rivals Pakistan has set his side's momentum for their next games in the ICC World Twenty20 in Bangladesh.

Raina was unbeaten on 35 in 28 balls as India reached a target of 131 with nine balls to spare to win the opening game of the Super 10 stage.

Now, ahead of their second match, against reigning champions the West Indies, he hopes they can carry momentum from that win and produce a strong performance.

"I think when you are playing World Cup, when you won against Pakistan first game I think that set the momentum for us," Raina said.

"We need to do really well against the West Indies and Australia, so I think this is a good platform that we got and hopefull in the coming matches we will do really well," he added.

2007 winners India will also play Australia and Bangladesh in the group stage of the competition.
