Video - Pollock On Importance Of Role Models

Shaun Pollock tells Cricket World that he thinks it is vitally important that youngsters have role models they can look to as they are getting into the game.

He cites example of Makhaya Ntini, who was a huge role model for black South Africans in the post-Apartheid world.

He says it is important to see 'heroes that you want to follow' and that he is pleased that the era of quotas in South African cricket is over with players 'from all walks of life' now part of the Proteas success - from Test level to Under-19s, where they were recently crowned World Cup winners in the United Arab Emirates.
