Video - Rahim Sorry To Have Let Bangladesh Fans Down

Watch as Mushfiqur Rahim apologise to the Bangladesh fans following his side's abject performance against the West Indies, where they were bowled out for just 98.

Prior to the game, Rahim had talked up his side's chances, and thanked the fans for the support despite a poor run of recent results.

However, after being set 172 to win, and then going down to a humbling 73-run defeat to the reigning champion, the crowds left early - and disappointed.

"I think the crowds are coming and they are supporting us but we feel really sorry for them because we didn't perform well [in the] last few matches and we really feel sorry for them," Mushfiqur said following the defeat.

"Hopefully we'll come up with some good performance in [the] next couple of days and that's the only thing where we can improve in the field so we have to do that... for them also."

Bangladesh were dreadful in the field during the early part of the West Indian innings, missing catches and allowing easy runs to be scored.

They next face India on Friday (28th March) knowing that another defeat will almost certainly end their chances of reaching the semi-finals.
