The single point acquired enabled them to join the Outlaws, Lancashire Lightning and Derbyshire Falcons in the last eight.
It was the third home match in seven during this summer’s Blast campaign that has been called off without a ball being bowled.
The Rapids will now be vying with the Outlaws for second spot in the group and a home tie when the North Group is completed on Friday.
Worcestershire travel to take on Northamptonshire Steelbacks while the Outlaws, who have a one point advantage, will do battle with Durham at Trent Bridge.
Steady rain began falling at 3pm – an hour before the scheduled start – and there was little let-up before umpires Martin Saggers and Alex Wharf called off play at 5.10pm.
Worcestershire First Team Coach Alex Gidman said: “Frustrating for the players, the supporters, the club, disappointing, but we know we can’t do anything about the weather so we just have to take it on the chin and take the point.
“The plus side is that has got us through to the quarter-finals with a game to spare which is very pleasing.
“Really proud of the lads. It’s been a tough campaign for lots of different reasons but really pleased we’ve got through and we’ve still got a chance of a home quarter-final.
“You look at that South Group and I think, with the exception of one team and Sussex, who have already won it, there are six or seven teams that finish in the top four going into the final round or two.
“To be in the position we are in, is testament to the group.”
