Warwickshire won the toss and decided to field at the Emirates Riverside, Chester-le-Street in their One Day Cup encounter today.

Durham 299-8 (Michael Richardson 111, Will Smith 119; Jeetan Patel 3-51)

Result Warwickshire won by 5 wickets

Centuries by Michael Richardson 111 and Will Smith 119 and 161 4^th wicket partnership helped Durham to an unlikely 299-8, after they had been reduce to 8-2 and 53-3 earlier on. Jeetan Patel (3-51) was the pick of the Warwickshire bowlers.

Warwickshire in reply can be thankful to their veteran batsmen Jonathan Trott 100 and Ian Bell 145*who managed to power them to a thrilling 5 wicket win with an over to spare.
