West Indies Coach Richard Pybus Speaks After ODI Against England Was Abandoned
West Indies head coach Richard Pybus spoke to members of the media after the third Colonial Medical Insurance One-Day International against England was abandoned due to rain.
After a delayed start time, England won the toss and decided to ask West Indies to bat at the picturesque Grenada National Stadium. However persistent rain all day forced the officials to call off the match at 2:40pm.
The five-match series is now level 1-1. The fourth match will be played at the same venue on Wednesday. First ball is 9:30am (8:30am Jamaica Time/1:30pm GMT).
The match will be the 100th between the two teams since their first met back in 1973. England have won 50 matches, West Indies 43 with six no results. Playing the West Indies, the home side won 22, the visitors won 16 with four no results.
