The West Indians continued to dominate their three-day tour game against a South African Invitational XI in Benoni, where Devon Smith and Marlon Samuels put on a 360-run partnersship together.

Samuels struck 203 and Smith 174, both men retiring as the West Indies were bowled out for 508 replying to their opponents' score of 125 on the opening day.

The Invitational XI then closed on 17 without loss in reply, some 366 runs behind.

The tourists resumed on 217 for two with Samuels and Smith continuing their fine form with the former hitting 32 fours and four sixes in a 176-ball inning and the latter hitting 25 fours and one six in his 277-ball stay at the crease.

Once they departed, only Denesh Ramdin, who was unbeaten on 48, spent much time in the middle as Shivnarine Chanderpaul (0), Jermaine Blackwood (4), Assad Fudadin (10) and Chadwick Walton (12) all fell cheaply.

Openers Gihan Cloete (9 not out) and Dominic Hendricks (8 not out) then guided the Invitational XI to stumps without losing a wicket.
