West Indies Women 163-3 (Taylor 60no) beat
Sri Lanka Women 162 (Fletcher 3-24) by seven wickets
Second One-Day International in Trinidad

A clinical performance from the bowlers and a solid unbeaten knock from Stafanie Taylor saw West Indies Women chase down 163 runs with seven wickets in hand in the second One-Day International in Trinidad thereby claiming the series 2-0.

West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first with the game reduced to 47 overs per side due to rain. Sri Lankan openers Nipuni Hansika (18) and Yasoda Mendis (34) added a solid opening stand of 53 runs to begin with and the momentum was carry forwarded by Chamari Atapattu (31) and Dilani Manodara (26) as the visitors crossed the 100-run mark with just two wickets down.

However, Afy Fletcher (3-24) triggered the collapse and was supported by Anisa Mohammed (2-16) and Taylor (2-31) as Sri Lanka lost eight wickets in a span of 58 runs and were bowled out for 162 in 46.3 overs.

In the chase Hayley Matthews (25) and Kycia Knight (24) provided a solid start but both the openers along with Chedean Nation (8) were dismissed in quick succession as they found themselves in a spot of bother at 86 for three.

Any chance of a Sri Lankan comeback was put off by Taylor (60 not out) and Deandra Dottin (37 not out) as they completed the run chase in the 40th over with seven wickets in hand to claim the series 2-0. The win has also given West Indies two more points in the ICC Women's Championship.
