Western Australia Sheffield Shield Squad Announced
Western Australia have announced one change to the 13-player squad ahead of their Marsh Sheffield Shield clash against Tasmania, starting Friday 30 October at Gladys Elphick Park at Adelaide.
Left-handed bat D’Arcy Short has been recalled to the squad in place of Ashton Turner who has been left out.
Head Coach Adam Voges said;
“It’s a great opportunity for D’Arcy who has worked hard recently and will provide us a strong all-round option with both bat and ball.
“Ashton was a hard decision, but ultimately his recent form hasn’t been his best and it means he misses this match. It’s a strong group which leads to some tough selection decisions.
“The team has been building nicely over the last two matches, and our guys should take a lot of confidence heading into this game.”
