Joe Leach led from the front with a five-wicket haul as Worcestershire completed an innings victory against Derbyshire while Colin Ingram and Chris Hooke scored unbeaten centuries to help Glamorgan come from behind and secure a draw against Nottinghamshire on the final day of the County Championship Division Two clashes.

Worcestershire started the day at 323 for three, having a lead of 28 over Derbyshire. Quick knocks from Tom Kohler-Cadmore (42) and Ben Cox (27) proved handy as Worcestershire declared their innings at 415 for nine.

Trailing by 140 runs, Derbyshire were rocketed by a five-wicket haul from Leach (5-32) with only number 10 batsman Tony Palladino (28) top scoring as they succumbed to an innings defeat.

Worcestershire are positioned third in the table after gaining 24 points while Derbyshire are placed eighth.

Sussex 452-4 (Wells 258)
County Championship Division Two, Hove

Sussex resumed the day at 43 for one, trailing Durham by 244 runs. After Graham Onions (2-38) dismissed both the openers early, Luke Wells (258) and Stiaan van Zyl (141 not out) stitched together a tremendous 376 run stand for the third wicket as Sussex ended the day at 452 for four.

At stumps they gained a 165 run lead with six wickets in hand.

Glamorgan resumed their second innings after following on with a score 212 for five. However, knocks from Ingram (155 not out) and Cooke (113 not out) ensured they did not lose any wicket in the day and also added an unbeaten 226 run to seal a draw for Glamorgan.

Nottinghamshire gained 12 points from the game and are placed fourth in the table while Glamorgan with seven points are at sixth.
