Warwickshire 292-7 (Sam Hain 68, Tim Ambrose 75, Will Rhodes 69; Moeen Ali 3-40)
Worcestershire 296-9 (Moeen Ali 114, Ben Cox 80, Ross Whiteley 47)
Result Worcestershire won by 1 wicket
Warwickshire had a poor start and were in some trouble at 37-2, however, Sam Hain 68, Tim Ambrose 75 and Will Rhodes 69 steadied the middle order with useful partnerships and Warwickshire battled their way to 292-7. Moeen Ali (3-40) was the pick of the Worcestershire bowlers.
Moeen Ali (114), then scored a magnificent hundred in Worcestershire’s reply to cap a great all round performance as the other Worcestershire batsmen, Ben Cox (80) and Ross Whiteley (47) seemingly were seeing themselves safely through to a comfortable win. However, Warwickshire had other ideas and 5 wickets fell for just 16 runs and Worcestershire just scrambled home by 1 wicket.
