Xavier Bartlett In for One Dayer Marsh Cup
The Queensland Bulls have recalled paceman Xavier Bartlett for tomorrow’s Marsh One Day Cup clash with South Australia at the Gabba.
Bartlett, who impressed in his first class debut against the Redbacks over the weekend, replaces fellow quick Mark Steketee (hamstring) in the 12-man squad.
The Gold Coast paceman claimed 3-33 from 13 overs in the second innings of the Shield game, with Queensland winning by four wickets to claim their first outright victory of the season.
Bartlett has played two Marsh Cup games so far this season.
Fellow paceman Billy Stanlake returns to the Queensland squad prior to linking with the Australian T20 squad to play the three-game Gilette T20 International series against Sri Lanka starting on Sunday.
Stanlake will be in action for Australia at the Gabba next Wednesday evening in the second game of the series. Tickets are selling quickly through Ticketek for the only Australian limited overs game at the Gabba this summer.
The Bulls (14 pts) currently sit on top of the one-day competition ladder, ahead of Western Australia (14pts) on Net Run Rate.
Tomorrow’s game starts at 10am and will be streamed live through cricket.com.au and Kayo Sports. Admission is free, with public entry through Gate 5.
