Year in review: Cricket World's Best T20I XI of 2019

2019: Virat Kohli T20I Average: 77.66

David Warner's batting average in T20Is this year is 287! Glenn Maxwell's T20I strike rate in 2019 is 183.33. These are the numbers you need to get into Cricket World's Best T20I XI of 2019.

With the entire focus on the ODI World Cup, most top teams did not play much T20I cricket in 2019. However, with the build up towards the 2020 T20 World Cup gaining pace, there have been some T20I series towards the end of the year.

In the 6 T20I matches that David Warner played in 2019, he did not get out even once and struck at over 145. Warner walks into Cricket World's Best T20I XI of 2019.

Babar Azam after being named Pakistan's white-ball captain promoted himself to open the batting and has averaged over 40 in 2019.

Glenn Maxwell, despite his mental health troubles, is too destructive a batsman in T20s to be overlooked. He finds a place at number 5 and will also help the team with a few handy off-spinners.

Ireland's Andrew Balbirnie has been the best-performing wicketkeeper-batsman this year. He does have an advantage of playing more matches due to the ICC World T20 Qualifier but you cannot take anything away from him.

Kiwi all-rounders Colin De Grandhomme and Mitchell Santner further bolster both the batting and the bowling.
