Yorkshire Cricket Foundation (YCF) are looking to establish a partnership with Clean Slate Foundation – the CSR arm of the world’s first female-first original content OTT streaming platform Clean Slate Studioz (Clean Slate).

In April Clean Slate were announced as principal partners of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, with their official stadium branding unveiled at Headingley Cricket Ground on Sunday 1st May.

The new partnership will support communities across Yorkshire while also helping boost the impact of the vital work carried out by YCF.

YCF delivers several community projects across the county, using the power of sport and cricket in particular. The Foundation aims to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of those living in Yorkshire.

The work of the Foundation falls under four key themes: Education, Health & Wellbeing, Participation, and Heritage.

The basis of the partnership between Clean Slate Foundation and YCF would be to build and support the community in Yorkshire through Clean Slate Foundation’s ambition to establish a base in West Yorkshire known as ‘Clean House’.

The purpose of Clean House will be to jointly promote, build, and invest in the community through film, arts, sports, and education. Both charities would work with local councils to attract investment to realise the potential.

Will Saville, the Managing Director for YCF, said: “The potential of this partnership – with a vibrant Indian company that is conscious of its social impact – is an exciting step for Yorkshire Cricket Foundation.

“Clean Slate Foundation are champions of inclusivity, diversity, and equity and the new community focused partnership will help us reach even more people in the community.

“We are very excited to be working with the Clean Slate Foundation team and we welcome them to the Yorkshire Cricket family.”

Caroline Darnbrook, Chair for YCF, said: “We are delighted to be working with Clean Slate Foundation to explore a fantastic new partnership and we know this is the start of a positive and impactful relationship between Clean House and the region.

“This partnership will support and expand our current work while also creating a community enterprise, which has the potential to change lives for the better across the region.

“I am really looking forward to the next chapter of this partnership and the support and passion Clean Slate Foundation bring to the table is invaluable.”

Clean Slate Studioz Founder Karnesh Ssharma feels the values of the two organisations are aligned, saying: “At Clean Slate, we truly believe in visions for the future of Yorkshire Cricket.

“We are champions of new beginnings, buoyed by the values of inclusivity, diversity and access to equal opportunity. This is what draws us to the work of the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation, who share these core principles.

“YCF’s established work is an important pillar for the community and we are looking forward to enhancing this with a proposed partnership which includes the launch of Clean House to form a physical hub and beacon of empowerment for the people of Yorkshire.”

Amreesh Chandra, Co-Founder of Clean Slate Studioz, said: “We stand for equality in the representation and participation of everyone. Clean House is symbolic of our mission to build a hub to champion these values throughout the wide community in Yorkshire.

“We believe Clean House, in partnership with YCF, can stand to be a constant reminder that people of all ages, genders, beliefs and backgrounds should feel empowered to follow their goals and take on new challenges and hobbies free of prejudice and boundaries.”
