Yorkshire quarter final hopes stay alive as they beat Lancashire by 16 runs
Yorkshire won the toss and decided to bat, away at the Emirates Old Trafford, in the Royal London One-Day Cup today.
Yorkshire 379-7 (Adam Lyth 144, David Willey 131; Matthew Parkinson 2-71, Tom Bailey 2-79)
Lancashire 363 (Liam Livingstone 79, Keaton Jennings 69; David Willey 4-59, Adil Rashid 3-64)
Result - Yorkshire won by 16 runs

It turned out to be a good decision as Adam Lyth (144) and David Willey (131) put on 235 for the 2nd wicket in Yorkshire's 379-7. Adam Lyth passed 3500 runs and hit his highest ListA score in a memorable innings. However, it was David Willey’s all round performance of 131 and 4-39 that brought victory to the visitors with Liam Livingstone (79) and Keaton Jennings (69) leading Lancashire’s unsuccessful run chase.
The pick of the bowlers on the day were Matthew Parkinson (2-71) and Tom Bailey (2-79) for Lancashire and David Willey (4-59) and Adil Rashid (3-64) for Yorkshire.
Yorkshire are now 3rd in the North Group, with their last match at home to Northamptonshire on Thursday.
