A half century from Ryan Burl, supported by an all round batting performance was enough to see Zimbabwe to a 3 wicket win via the D/L method today at the Harare Sports Club.

Zimbabwe won the toss and put Ireland in to bat, Victor Nyauchi (2/65) and Richard Ngarava (1/40) getting both openers early leaving Ireland in disarray.
That was before skipper Andy Balbirnie (121) lead the charge from the front, smashing a sensational century to get Ireland back into this one.
Unfortunately, he did retire hurt as a Brad Evans delivery struck on the head.
His partner Harry Tector (101) scored his own century to well a truly put Ireland back in the driving seat.
After a rough start Craig Ervine (38) steadied the ship with some runs, Sikandar Raza (43) added runs of his own before the weather interrupted play.
It hadn't however dampened their spirits as Ryan Burl (59) hit a half century, Zimbabwe winning by 3 wickets via the D/L method.
